What the desk will help with

We will help with the material on this site. If a page is unclear, if a formula does not reconcile, if a dated figure looks out of date, or if you think a statement about XAU/USD contract size or pip value is wrong, write to [email protected] and we will look at it. Corrections are handled on a separate page and fixed in place with a dated note.

We will also read a well-argued objection to how we rank a broker. If you can point to a document that contradicts something we published, that is exactly the kind of mail we want, because it makes the next check better.

The questions we can answer directly and the ones that need a different route

We can answer factual questions about how the platform works, what a margin figure means, how a gold position is sized, and where to find features on MT4, MT5, cTrader, or FxPro Edge. We can explain the difference between a pip at 0.01 on XAU/USD and a point, and how 100 oz per standard lot affects the calculation. We can also point you to the correct form or department for account issues, though we do not handle those ourselves.

We cannot answer questions that require personal trading advice, such as whether to buy or sell gold at the current reference price near 4275.0, where to place a stop, or what lot size suits your finances. We cannot tell you what leverage you should use; the cap is up to 1:200, or up to 1:500 for eligible traders after an experience and financial assessment, but that is a maximum, not a recommendation. Those decisions remain yours.

We cannot confirm account-specific balances, verify withdrawals, or recover funds. We are not FxPro's support desk and we do not have access to client accounts. For anything tied to your money or your login, the correct route is FxPro Markets Ltd. directly. Note that FxPro is licensed by the FCA (UK), CySEC and FSCA — not by SEBI — so any escalation should go through the entity that serves India, FxPro Markets Ltd.

How we handle a correction request from start to finish

A correction request is logged with the date, the page URL, the sentence in question, and the source you provide. We check the claim against the facts we are permitted to state, such as the instrument specification for gold (XAU/USD), the lot size of 100 oz, the pip of 0.01, and the leverage cap of up to 1:200, or up to 1:500 for eligible traders after an experience and financial assessment. If the claim depends on a number we were not given, we say so rather than invent one.

If the correction is valid, we amend the page and note the change. If it is not valid, we explain the basis for the original wording and, where useful, clarify the sentence so other readers are not misled. We do not remove accurate content simply because it is disliked, and we do not add unsupported claims to satisfy a request. The decision rests on whether the statement matches the facts we hold, not on who is asking.

We do not publish a correction as a separate article or a comment thread. The fix happens on the page itself, so the reader who arrives later sees the accurate version. If the issue is a factual error that affects how a calculation is done, we may add a short clarifying note in the same section. We will tell you the outcome by email, but we will not enter a prolonged debate about a point that the facts do not support.

The response time you should expect for a correction request or a general query

We aim to reply to a clear, complete message within two working days. That estimate applies to messages that include the details listed on this page; if key information is missing, the clock starts only when we have enough to act on. Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays in India. We do not promise instant replies, and we do not operate a live chat for trading emergencies.

A correction request that includes the page URL, the exact sentence, and the source you rely on is usually answered faster than a general query because it can be verified without a back-and-forth. If the correction is straightforward, such as a misstated formula or a wrong instrument detail, we aim to respond within two working days and, where warranted, update the page shortly after. We will tell you what we decided and why.

Response times lengthen when a message covers several unrelated topics or asks for personal advice. Split such messages into separate queries, each with its own subject line, so each can be routed correctly. If your message is about account access or fund recovery, we will redirect it rather than answer it, and that redirection may take a working day. Plan accordingly and do not rely on a reply before a trading deadline.

Where account access, fund recovery, and personal advice actually go

Account access problems, fund recovery, and personal trading advice do not go to this desk. For login issues, withdrawal delays, or anything touching your money, contact FxPro Markets Ltd. directly through the channels on the FxPro website. This desk has no access to client accounts and cannot recover funds. Remember that FxPro is licensed by the FCA (UK), CySEC and FSCA — not by SEBI — so the entity serving India is FxPro Markets Ltd., and that is where such matters belong.

Personal trading advice, including whether to trade gold at the reference price near 4275.0, what lot size to use, or which leverage setting to choose, is not something we provide. The leverage available is a cap of up to 1:200, or up to 1:500 for eligible traders after an experience and financial assessment, but it is not a target. A 0.10-lot gold position needs about $85.50 margin at that cap, which illustrates the arithmetic, not a recommendation.

If you are unsure where a question belongs, send it here with a clear subject line and we will redirect it if needed. That redirection is not an answer, and it may take a working day. For anything urgent involving open positions or missing funds, go straight to FxPro rather than waiting for a redirect. Trading gold on leverage is high-risk, and a delayed answer from a general desk is not a substitute for the broker's own support.

No guest posts, no paid placement

We do not accept guest posts, sponsored reviews or paid placement at any price. The desk does not sell links, does not publish advertorials and does not add a broker to a page because someone asked. If you send a pitch for content, it will not be published.

This is a deliberate limit, not a negotiating position. Affiliate links are the only revenue, and mixing them with paid editorial would make every ranking on the site unreadable.

What a useful message contains so that an answer is possible

A useful message states one question, gives the context needed to answer it, and says what you have already checked. For a platform question, that means the platform name, the exact steps you took, and the error text. For a gold-trading question, it means the lot size, the leverage cap you are working within, and the price or pip value involved. Without those, the desk can only reply with generalities, which helps nobody.

A useful message avoids mixing a complaint with a request for advice. If you want a factual explanation, ask for that; if you want a correction, provide the source. If you want personal trading advice, the message will be redirected, because we do not give it. Keeping the purpose single makes it possible to route the message to someone who can actually answer, rather than returning a reply that addresses none of it.

A useful message includes your contact email and, if relevant, your account number, but never your password or a one-time code. It also includes the time in IST, because trading logs are read in that frame. If the question concerns a funding method, name it from the list we can discuss: local INR bank transfer, card, or e-wallet. Vague messages such as 'gold is not working' cannot be answered without a round of clarifying questions.

What to include in your message for account, platform, or gold-trading questions

For account or platform questions, include your account number (not your password), the platform you use (MT4, MT5, cTrader, or FxPro Edge), and the exact error text or screen you see. If the issue relates to a gold (XAU/USD) order, add the order ticket number, the time in IST, the lot size, and the price you saw. That lets the desk check logs instead of guessing, and it avoids a back-and-forth that delays any answer.

For questions about margin or leverage on gold, state the lot size you are considering and the leverage cap you are working within, such as 1:200 or the higher tier for eligible traders. Mention that 1 standard lot equals 100 oz and one pip equals 0.01, so the desk can confirm how the margin figure is derived. You do not need to share your full financial details in the first message; the desk will ask only for what is relevant to the question.

For funding questions, name the method you used or plan to use: local INR bank transfer, card, or e-wallet. Include the amount in ₹, the date and time in IST, and any reference number the method provides. Do not send card numbers, CVV codes, or one-time passwords. If the query is about a delay, say whether the transfer left your bank and whether you have a receipt; that determines what can actually be checked.

What the desk cannot do

We cannot help with account problems. We cannot open, close, verify or unfreeze an account, chase a withdrawal, or intervene with a broker on your behalf, because we have no authority over any broker and no access to client records. We also cannot help with fund recovery, and we will not refer you to anyone who claims to.

We cannot give personal advice. We do not tell readers what to buy, sell, hold or how much leverage to use, and we do not comment on an individual's positions or losses. Questions about whether gold suits your situation belong with a licensed adviser, and the broker's own risk disclosures belong in front of you before you fund anything.

FAQ

Common questions

How do I reach the Deccan Primer desk with a question?

Use the contact form on this page and include the article or calculator name so we can find it quickly. We read every message, but we answer editorial and factual queries only. We do not run a live chat, a phone line or a trading support desk, so please do not send time-sensitive instructions.

Can the desk tell me whether to buy or sell gold right now?

No. Deccan Primer does not give trade calls, entry levels or signals, and we are not a licensed adviser. We can explain how a position size, pip value, margin or profit figure is calculated for XAU/USD, but the decision and the risk stay with you. Anyone promising calls through us is not acting for this desk.

Will you help me open a FxPro account or resolve an account problem?

No. Account opening, verification, funding through INR bank transfers, cards or e-wallets, and any dispute are handled by the broker directly. Deccan Primer has no access to client accounts and cannot escalate a ticket. For account issues, contact FxPro through its own support channels.

How fast should I expect a reply from the desk?

There is no guaranteed response time. Messages are reviewed in the order received, and factual corrections are prioritised over general queries. If your message concerns a specific number on a page, quote the page and the sentence, which makes it far quicker for us to check and act on.

Can I send you my trading history or account statements for review?

Please do not. The desk does not review personal statements, and sending account details to an editorial site creates unnecessary risk. If you want to check your own numbers, use the position size, pip value, margin and profit calculators and compare the output with your broker's contract specifications.
